Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator
If a child has any additional needs; physical or speech or language, then we are able to meet those needs, here at the Bilingual Day Nursery Ravenstone. We will meet in depth with the parents, to discuss the child's specific needs and we can discuss and answer any questions the parents may have.
We are able to adapt the Nursery, to enable a smooth transition for when the child starts with us.
Kelly is our trained SENDCo, with a passion for inclusion. She has recently completed her Level 3 training. Kelly also has a profound knowledge of developing children's speech and language. She is currently extending her knowledge and practice, by undertaking the Level 3 ULKLAN qualification, which is specialized in speech and language support for the 3-5's. Kelly is also working towards her level 4 certificate to award our nursery to the Communication Friendly Setting accreditation!
